Caran d'Ache's Cosmic Blue collection of special edition pens and pencils is inspired by the dark, starry night sky which seems ever more enveloping at the latter end of the year.
A real original, the Caran d'Ache 849 ballpoint has been in production since 1969, and has oft been the subject of special editions. The lightweight, hexagonal aluminium body is resplendent in gold and grey, the result of tribofinition, which involves placing unfinished elements in tumblers with metallic parts to create this type of surface finish. The clip and push button are velour chrome grey.
Supplied fitted with a long-lasting medium Goliath refill in black.
